TidyReply ("we", "our", "us") is a unified messaging inbox service that lets you manage conversations from WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Email, and Telegram in one place. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app and website.
2. Information we collect
We collect and process the following:
- Account information: email address, name, and password (or social login identifiers) when you sign up or log in.
- Workspace and team data: workspace name, member emails, and roles if you use team features.
- Message and conversation data: when you connect channels (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger), we receive and store messages, contact identifiers, and related metadata so you can view and reply from TidyReply.
- Contact information: names, phone numbers, email addresses, and social handles that appear in your conversations, to show you a unified contact view.
- Usage and technical data: how you use the app (e.g. pages visited, actions taken), device type, browser, and IP address for security, support, and improving our service.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve TidyReply.
- Sync and display your conversations and contacts across connected channels.
- Send you service-related emails (e.g. account, security, product updates).
- Process payments and manage your subscription (e.g. via Stripe).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
- Analyse usage (in aggregate or anonymised form) to improve the product.
4. Third parties and integrations
To provide TidyReply we use and share data with:
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp): when you connect these channels, we receive and send messages via Meta's APIs. Meta's use of data is governed by their privacy policy and your choices in their products.
- Email and Telegram: when you connect email or Telegram, we sync messages and contact data via the relevant providers' APIs.
- AWS (Amazon Web Services): we store and process data (e.g. in DynamoDB, S3) and run our systems on AWS. Data is held in regions we select and in line with our security practices.
- Stripe: for billing we use Stripe; payment data is processed by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to run the service, comply with law, or with your consent.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data; we will process such requests in line with applicable law. When we receive a valid data deletion request from a platform (e.g. Meta), we delete the relevant user data and confirm as required by that platform.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
